& Design: Cheating in baseball was a dark secret
that I exposed with gritty close-up details of the offending
items, including corked or "super-balled" bats,
and slippery or scratched baseballs. I drew a marker comp
of the items, then art directed the photography.
This article was the talk-of-the-town when it debuted, creating
a scandal in the Major Leagues, discussed on national talk
radio and TV sports news.
