I created this award-winning diecut and embossed trifold in a unique size to emphasize innovation. The focus of the piece was to promote quality union printing and the "union bug" —industry term for the small union logo—so as a play on words, I designed an embossed ladybug that appears through the diecut magnifying glass.

I created a theme and designed a family of collateral media
to promote and unify this exclusive international retreat offered
to captains of the tech industry as an incentive for developing
closer business ties. I designed the logo, stationery, three
separate websites, powerpoint templates, signage and graphics,
including an original photocollage for the event theme.

Unveiling the long-awaited Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 software
at the Comdex convention in Las Vegas was a major event for
the IT industry and media. As lead designer in charge of over
100 deliverable items, I created the event theme, then designed
and produced all of the event graphics, including posters, invitations,
mailers, banners, tickets, signs, passes, stage backdrops, t-shirts,
give-aways, event wrap-up catalog and more.

I developed the look and feel of a new gourmet bakery café,
starting with 5 "style boards" to narrow the direction,
researched the market and competition and offered insight and suggestions
on positioning and marketing strategies. I created logos and theme
art, a wide selection of store fronts, elevations and interior designs
and fleshed out the clients ideas, which included a striped theme,
over 75 color variations and numerous names. |

To highlight the colorful, inventive, 3 dimensional point of purchase
displays they design, I created a uniquely shaped multi-dimensional
and vibrant brochure/folder that holds a video tour on CD and numerous
inserts and can be custom-tailored for each presentation. In addition
to all the production work, I also stylized halftones, illustrated
instructional line art, created 12 unique inserts, hired and supervised
the video producer and art directed the video presentation. |

Chinese client needed a vibrant new look and feel for their packaging
to win approval from big wholesalers here. I was provided with their
logo and loose pens, which
I photographed, then manipulated and arranged in Photoshop, adding
the company logo on each pen. Then I designed and comped up a variety of new packaging and blister-pack shapes
and styles, from stylized and illustrative to metallic ink,
foil-stamped and faux-metallic. I invented and logo-typed new
wording like "Metallic & Neon Artist Collection"
and "Hot Neon" to add distinctive sub-branding, and
then translated each look and feel into the four product categories.

publishing legacy software, which included numerous original
illustrations and diagrams reflecting the graphics-oriented

mail pieces, my initiative was a proposal which could be laser
printed and customized for each presentation.

To reflect their offbeat personalities, the owners of this
film and video production company commissioned me to create
and illustrate an all-encompassing holiday greeting card sent
to hundreds of clients. The text said "Christmas Card", "Hannukah Card", "Kwaanza Card", and finally "Phone Card". Attached to the last page was a company-branded phone card with an hour of free long distance.
