FirstUSA Bank, Wilmington, DE / Caribiner Digital Media
Interactive Sales Presentation
. . . . .
In their bid for an exclusive, multi-million dollar Microsoft e-commerce contract, FirstUSA bank delivered to Redmond a 10 minute animated sales presentation detailing the banks advanced online financing.

I was tapped to art direct their script in to captivating imagery and animation that engaged the viewer, emphasizing the fast-paced emergence of e-commerce. To accompany a voice-over narration, I created an interface and dialog boxes, researched and collaged images, created illustrations, fake TV shows and websites, animating my work in Director. This projector presentation was successful in winning the Microsoft contract over 8 bids from other financial institutions.

AT&T / In Productions
ePlane Sales movie
. . . . .
I was commissioned to create and produce this 2 1/2 minute animated sales movie, delivered on CD's, for an on-board aircraft server program, that closely matched a gritty black & white print ad campaign. I chose and manipulated stock photos, then animated text and images to a custom soundtrack and produced a sales piece in one weekend. My Director version was well-received and later translated to video.

Compaq Computers / Merwyn Creative
Shockwave & Flash animation, Toucan server launch, Compaq.com
. . . . .
To debut the launch of the CL380 Toucan "cluster" server, I concepted a molecular theme of independant units working cohesively. I designed and illustrated all the graphics and originally produced an animated Director projector presentation for CD's, then supervised a Flash production artist for the Flash version shown here.

Toyota Trucks / Caribiner Digital Media
Interactive Sales Rally Program pitch
. . . . .
I designed, illustrated and produced a playful interactive contest for an annual Toyota Trucks national sales rally, that highlighted the ruggedness and durability of their vehicles. I created an animated demo of an interactive game that could be played by dozens of participants simultaneously, that was pitched by Sales to Corporate. Each player had an input device for answering truck trivia questions and as their regional team got more answers correct, their truck advanced through the sections toward the finish line, winning the team a prize.

I used my resources and creativity to put together this demo in a day and a half, illustrating a Toyota logo-shaped racecourse, manipulating truck images downloaded from toyotatrucks.com and animating the presentation in Director.

Diamar Interactive Corp., Seattle
Designer, Lead Animator for educational CD-ROM developer
. . . . .
For the title shown, a childrens learning program narrated by a time-traveling elf, I animated intro's, scenes and characters—illustrated by the project comic artist—to a provided script.
This involved Photoshopping base character art into a variety of positions and angles, and manipulating body parts and scene elements in Director into appropriate movements as the characters spoke and interfaced with each other and moved about numerous virtual sets realistically, introducing a variety of sports games, each of with it's own animated characters and interface. I also created scene transitions and illustrated necessary elements to enhance the story and action.
